Product Description Here's the classic "bible" of forms and checklists for every situation a professional photographer may face. Thoroughly expanded and updated to cover the Internet, this brand-new Third Edition contains 31 forms, each ready-to-use as is, or easily tailored to fit any situation. Photographers will find contracts for wedding, portrait, and assignment photography; property and model releases, assignment estimates, confirmations, and invoices; delivery memos; license for Web usage; nondisclosure agreements; and much, much more. An accompanying CD-ROM provides electronic versions of these forms, ready to use on both Macs and PCs.

Photographer's Library Essential December 6, 2009 Derrick S. Qualls (Jackson, MS) This is an excellent publication. It contains a wide variety of sample contracts. But more importantly, this handbook explains WHY certain clauses are included, negotiating strategies, as well as potential legal issues on some assignments. This is a must-have for every professional photographer's library.
Business and Legal Forms for Photographers (with CD-ROM) November 20, 2009 Mark R. Milar (Pittsburgh, PA) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
The first thing I noticed is that the CD is 1) outdated and / or 2) is not compatible with Windows Vista. One can open the files, but cannot alter them, and afterall, that is one of the reasons I purchased this product.
I looked over the Table of Contents which looked very promising, showing a list of contracts, forms and other info. Each page in the book corresponds to the files on the CD, yet one cannot edit those files even if you save a file onto your hard drive and open it in either Microsoft Excel or Adobe PDF. Now I'm not a computer genius, but, I'm not computer illiterate either, I just dont see what the point is if one is not able to edit those files.
If anyone has suggestions, please feel free to respond.

Great investment! November 9, 2009 Chanda Holter (Ben wheeler Tx,) If you are a photographer and getting started you need this book! The CD is great so you can get your contracts done and ready without the expense of an attorney!
get it and use it July 4, 2009 T. White (San Ramon, CA United States) Get this book if you are an independent photographer or artist. I use the forms and reference for every client.
Excellent source of information June 27, 2009 CSwink (Las Vegas, NV) The cd provided in the book is easy to use. The formatting is a little weird, but it was easy to work with. The instructions in the book are clear and the book is well organized. It is a great source for our business.
